How to get here and things to do
The War Memorial was built in 1922 and was paid for by public subscription. It was dedicated to the 250 men who lost their lives in WW1. Subsequent conflicts have been added.
There is now also a memorial plaque with all the names of the soldiers on. This was researched by RBL.
If you look up Rhyddings Street you will see Rhyddings Park - worth a walk on its own.
